In an effort to empower Latinas in our communities, The Estela G. Ramirez Memorial Scholarship is excited to provide multiple $500.00 scholarships to Latina students pursuing college degrees. Through our scholarship program, we hope to help first generation Latina college students unlock their potential and reach their life-changing milestone.
The Estela G. Ramirez Memorial Scholarship was created to honor Estela Guerrero Ramirez. Estela was a first generation college student, from Aguascalientes, Mexico. Her story reflects her commitment to education, hard work, ambition, and the desire to create a better life for herself and her loved ones.

How many awards will be disbursed?
Currently, The Estela G. Ramirez Memorial Scholarship awards high school seniors with a one time $500.00 award. We look forward to awarding students at different stages of their education in the future.
Are there requirements for how to use the funds?
Once the award is disbursed, students are free to use the scholarship to pay for any educational fees they incur, including room and board fees, textbooks, or other expenses.
